Empowerment for Travelling Through the Battlefields of Life

Travelling Through the Battlefields of Life

These last two months - my heart has been seriously heavy.  I have gone through some of the days as if I were in a daze.  Have you ever felt that way?  Everywhere I turn, there is something derogatory - disheartening - just plain evil happening.  Is this what you are seeing too?  It will overtake you and depress you - if you let it!  Oh ------but don't you let it!  I was distracted from what the word of God tells me.  It tells me to guard my heart from the cares of this world, for if I don't, I will surely be emotionally hijacked.   http://biblehub.com/proverbs/4-23.htm

Today, I am reminded to look unto the hills from which cometh your help.  God is sitting high and looking low.  I declare and decree that His shield covers me and keep me safe.  The blood of Jesus sealed God's commitment.  No weapons formed against me shall prosper!

I am thankful for the word of God and His communication to me.  There is nothing new under the sun and there is guidance in how to travel through the battlefields of life.  Yes - battlefields! There is a battle going on - all around us.  We see it in the natural eye through the  many disturbing news stories and sometimes personal life events, but the bigger picture is within the spiritual realm.  There is a battle between good and evil and all the things that fall within.  I am grateful for the Bible which gives me, guidance, encouragement, a master plan - a map to aide me along the battlefields of life. May this post help you along your journey.  May God speak to your heart and spirit; and may you harken unto Him.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen:

1.  "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

2.  With God on our side, it is more than the world against us.

3.  We are instructed in what to do to journey through the battlefields.  Put on the whole armor of God!
